Biography

Alexander Votsmush (b. 1967) is one of the most distinctive and celebrated watercolour artists working in Europe today. Known for his lightness of touch, ironic visual language and poetic imagery, his works fuse technical mastery with a dreamlike narrative.

He has exhibited widely across Europe, the US and Asia — including solo shows in Los Angeles (Nucleus Art Gallery), Moscow (Central House of Artists), and major auctions such as Sotheby's ArtLink (Tel Aviv), where all his works were sold.

Votsmush is a member of international artistic associations including UNESCO's International Federation of Artists. His watercolours — created on handmade paper — are held in private collections in London, New York, Geneva and Vienna.

Each piece is unique in tone and texture, resonating with collectors and designers alike for its emotional precision and understated elegance.
